Movember, which has been taking place since 2004, is an annual event encouraging men to grow out their mustaches from 1 to 30 November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer. The corresponding Movember Foundation is a global charity that raises funds that deliver innovative, breakthrough research and support programs that allow men to live happier, healthier and longer lives.
Wigs are encouraged for the ladies to show their support to all the cancer patients who lose their hair during cancer treatments.
In support of November Cancer Awareness Month 2015, we Uniwigs.com is honored to cooperate with the WigOut Movember -WIPE OUT CANCER event to benefit those in need and to raise awareness in the HK Community. As below, there are the detailed information for the donation:

Includes free unlimited specialty cocktails, finger food, desert buffet, photo booth.
Target Audience: The Hong Kong Socialites, Trendsetters, Artists and Music community in Hong Kong.
As we all know, Cancer Patients often need to go through rounds of chemotherapy and lose most of their hair as a side effect while the body is attacked by the chemicals that fight the cancer. We wear wigs at this event to show not only our support and walk in their shoes for a night, but show that wigs can be cool, fun and funky too!! Check the below photos:

The wigs were a big hit and most photos have tried them at the event, photos is posted on the HKclubbing website and Facebook at the end of November.
With the support of all of the sponsors, ticket sales and online donations of WigOut has raised a total of : 62,585 HKD and we are still hoping to get more online donations to the Wigout Team!
